CEO/Executive Director Job Description for Nonprofits

This Job Description is intended to provide guidance to the job position of the Chief Executive Officer or Executive Director who is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership of the Organization. In addition to managing the Organization’s operations, the CEO or Executive Director will work in constructive partnership with the Board of Directors (Board) and Senior Management to establish the Organization’s vision and mission and its long-range strategic goals, objectives and metrics.
