Oscar Porras

Lead Consultant

Oscar Porras is a Leadership Development Consultant working across Callahan & Quantum Governance. A bilingual credit union leader with more than 25 years of industry experience, Oscar helps Boards, Executives Leadership strengthen governance practice and culture, develop talent, navigate organizational change, and translate strategy into action. His approach draws on experience spanning frontline operations, leadership development, executive advisory, organizational culture, inclusion, and executive search.

Prior to joining Callahan, Oscar served as Senior Consultant, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with Humanidei. In that role, he advised credit unions on inclusive leadership, organizational culture, employee engagement, talent strategy, and governance. He designed and facilitated leadership programs, guided Boards and Executive Leadership through complex conversations, conducted employee-listening research, and helped organizations turn insight into practical action. He also supported executive-search and succession-planning engagements across the credit union industry. Earlier in his career, Oscar held operational leadership roles with Point West Credit Union and Maps Credit Union. Oscar’s branch leadership experience continues to shape his practical, people-centered approach to strategy and organizational change.

Oscar currently serves as Board Chair for Point West Credit Union, bringing the perspective of both a practitioner and a governance leader to his work. Oscar is an International Credit Union Development Educator, a Certified Diversity Professional, and a graduate of Georgetown University’s Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace program. He is fluent in English and Spanish and lives in Keizer, Oregon with his family.​​
