Board Member Qualifications Policy Template for Credit Unions

This Policy describes the general qualifications for members (Board members) of the Credit Union’s Board of Directors. It articulates both the required and the prioritized qualifications for the Credit Union’s volunteers and should be used in coordination with additional Credit Union policies that outline Board members’ roles and responsibilities, including the Role and Responsibilities of the Board of Directors, the Board Member Job Description, and the Legal Duties of Board Members.
