Gaining the commitment of all your Board members to support your organiztion and fully execute their role as a nonprofit Board member is key to your organization's success. While Board member job descriptions, orientation training and full onboarding programs that all outline Board member roles and responsibilities are important first steps in this process, it is critical that you specifically call upon yur Board members to explicitly declare an understanding of and a commitment to their roles and their responsibilities.
