Whistleblower/Anti-Retaliation Policy for Nonprofits

The purpose of this Policy is to demonstrate the Organization’s commitment to integrity and to provide a safe, independent and anonymous means that encourages any and all Board members, officers, Board-level Committee members and Audit Committee members to raise concerns and provide credible information regarding any illegal or unethical practices or violations of the Organization’s policies or procedures. The Policy encourages and enables individuals to identify and raise serious concerns within the Organization prior to seeking outside resolution. It also protects individuals coming forward from retaliation and identifies individuals to whom such information should be reported.
