Finance Committee Charter Template for Credit Unions

The Committee shall be responsible for recommending to the Board financial policies, goals and budgets that support the Credit Union’s mission and strategic goals. The Committee will also review the Credit Union’s financial performance against its goals and will serve as an effective conduit to provide the Board with relevant financial information that is thorough yet clear and succinct in its presentation. The Committee will also review (and make recommendations concerning) any major transactions, investments and expenditures which exceed the CEO’s delegations of authority.
