CEO/Executive Director & Senior Management Succession Policy for Nonprofits

The Board of Directors (Board) is charged with ensuring that an articulate process aligned with the Organization’s values is followed with respect to providing continuous leadership, day-to-day management and support for the Organization through the position of the CEO or Executive Director. In turn, the CEO or Executive Director is responsible for providing the same through Senior Management positions at the Organization. This Policy is intended for contingency, planning and developmental purposes only, and its existence and content do not reflect negatively on the current CEO's Executive Director's or Senior Management’s performance.
