The purpose of the Organization’s Board Mentoring Program (Program) is to 1) help prepare new Associate and full Board members (Mentees) for full participation in the work of the Board; 2) develop a pipeline of future Board leadership; and 3) offer opportunities to strengthen the Board at-large with learnings gained from the Program. Mentors provide knowledge through various ways which includes offering practical advice based on their experience, providing one-on-one support and referring their Mentees to needed resources.
