Perry Haaland, Ph.D. Statistician is an expert in a wide range of statistical methodologies. Dr. Haaland has more than 30 years of professional experience as a statistician. He brings the practical experience of solving complex problems in an industrial research setting along with well-honed skills in explaining statistical concepts to management at all levels. He retired in 2017 as the lead statistician at Becton Dickinson, a Fortune 250 medical technology company. Dr. Haaland is a strong proponent of effective graphical analyses, having been one of the founding members of the Section on Statistical Graphics of the American Statistical Association. Dr. Haaland is currently Adjunct Professor of Statistics at UNC-Chapel Hill where he is developing a curriculum for teaching data science to graduate students in statistics.
