Pamela Barit Nolan is a Senior Consultant with Quantum Governance, having joined the organization after a career that spanned almost 20 years in the financial service industry and nearly 10 years in the nonprofit sector. She has been a banker, investment manager, board member, executive director, fundraiser and manager. She has presented complex financial issues to clients, created and executed divisional and organizational business and strategic plans, facilitated workshops, hosted discussion groups and individually coached colleagues, friends and clients.
Pamela started her career with the Bank of Bermuda (Bermuda) in the corporate banking department. After graduate school she moved into the credit department of Continental Bank in both Chicago and New York. Moving back to the Bank of Bermuda (New York), she brought her credit skills to run the corporate banking department in New York, participating in all aspects of managing a New York State charted bank. Moving from credit to investment, Pamela joined Wellington Management Company in Boston. There she joined a small group of people in the Client Service Department but went quickly on to form the Insurance Asset Management Group, participating in growing assets from just under $100 million to over $20 billion during her 10 year tenure.
Pamela has enjoyed coaching direct reports, colleagues and her supervisors during her career and brings to Quantum Governance a passion to offer these services to its clients. While governance is a strong passion for Pamela, her desire to see individuals grow to their full potential is also a focus.
Pamela is a graduate of Tufts University and Thunderbird School of Global Management. She is a graduate of Harvard’s Leading Professional Service Firms. In October 2014 Pamela completed a three-day intensive training on Collaborative Leadership and the Art of Hosting and she is now using these skills to facilitate strategic conversations in public and private organizations.
